Azenta acquires University of Oregon gene synthesis spinout SynPlexity

The life sciences group bought the Eugene startup, which builds thousands of full-length gene variants in a single library, to expand its GENEWIZ gene synthesis business. It also took an exclusive licence to Elegen's cell-free DNA technology.
