Baseten acquires AI agent sandbox startup Blaxel to run agents next to the models they call

The inference company, which has raised more than $2 billion, is adding Blaxel's microVM sandboxes, agent filesystem and networking, built by six co-founders who previously sold a company to OVHcloud.
