Deepgram agrees to acquire Daily, the maker of open-source voice agent framework Pipecat

Deepgram and Daily went through Y Combinator in the same 2016 batch. Daily's Pipecat framework, built by 18 engineers and now with almost 400 contributors, will move under an independent foundation whose steering committee includes Deepgram's competitors.
