LIGHTz buys Tokyo AI engineering firm OMOTECH to put engineers inside factories

The Tsukuba industrial AI startup bought all the shares of OMOTECH, a 2022-founded team of AI and security engineers that works on site with clients in the forward-deployed engineering model. It wants to move from selling a platform to helping manufacturers put AI to work.
