Nipendo buys spend-management startup PayEm for $500,000 after it raised about $47 million

The buyer, part of Israel's Top Group Software, paid a symbolic price and committed up to $3.5 million more, mostly to pay down debt; all existing PayEm shares and options are being cancelled.
