SenzaGen buys Newcastle spinout Alcyomics, maker of animal-free immune safety tests

The Swedish testing company is paying about £2.12 million (about $2.8 million) in cash up front, with up to £1.88 million more in earn-outs, for a profitable university spinout whose human skin model screens cancer drugs for immune side effects.
