Vanguard agrees to acquire Altruist, the advisor custody startup it first backed in 2020

Vanguard did not disclose a price, but the Wall Street Journal reported the deal at about $4 billion, roughly double the $1.9 billion valuation Altruist reached in its 2025 Series F.
