Lakala moves to take control of Skyee operator Gaofu Information in share-and-cash deal

Lakala has owned a minority stake in the Guangzhou cross-border payments company since 2021. It has now signed a conditional agreement to take control, but the price is not yet set and the deal needs shareholder, regulatory and central bank approval.
